Gordon Taylor has just talked a load of rubbish... somehow this is bad for the finance of the country - Kaka coming here and paying £150,000 - £200,000 a week in tax is bad for the country is it??? he also said money is going out of the game... WTF???? Arabs from the UAE are pumping money into the game!!! He hasnt got a clue...

So many holes in what he said it was untrue. I was screamin for the Sky bloke to pull him on them but he was just as thick.
Yeah and ssn never pull them up or offer the opposite view ie. they lack objectivity. And they call themselves reorters? When the bias has taken over the media its time to think of withdrawing our subs boys or even hopefully òur new owners will have their own TV station which will reflect all views in a balanced way!

Basically these are the points he made - with how i see it under them

1) this is bad for the country at a time of financial crisis

Like i said earlier, if he comes, how is the fact he will be here paying £15m a year in tax be bad for Britain

2) This will inflate other players wages further when we have been working to get them down, and put other clubs at risk.

Who are the PFA actually working for here??? Seems he should be doing the opposite. Also, if another team goes too far, why is that our fault.

3) I thought the signing of Robinho was wrong

Why was it wrong? What because it was Manchester City? Oh i forgot sorry Gordon only team who get in the CL can spend £30m+ on players, after all they have had the extra money all this time, it is really really unfair of City to spend that - we havent earnt it (or ever really had a realistic chance to earn it)

4) Further to 3) and i am not sure if he knew if he was signing for City or United

Terrible comment about a player he is supposed to represent, and who many times has said he is happy at City

5) £100m going out of the British game

It was never in the British game - can believe how stupid this comment was, why should people from the UAE worry about where their non football money is going?

6) City's acadamy will now fail they have great players like Ireland, richards who are now being pushed out

He has a crystal ball... how are they being pushed out?? And if they are great then they will remain wont they, if not there will be a host of midtable team itching to get them

7) It is irresponsible spending in the style of the banks

Of all the stupid statements, this one made me spit my tea out... WTF??? Banks gambling billions they didnt have, is nothing like a billionaire finding some loose change to 'buy himself a present'

8) What happens if City's owners get bored and leave

Again crystal ball Gordon strikes again, firstly he wants to be careful - Roman has started action against the times cause they said he was off from Chelsea. Secondly, they have only just got here why talk about their exit already? Thirdly, he has never watched horse racing, they love winning, and are willing to spend to get the buzz and have been doing it for years. Finally, Kaka is a present from owners to City and their fans, not like Abramovic who has given Chelsea massive loans, should they leave we will have millions in playing assets and so far no loans.

Gordon Taylor is a total cnut...

QUOTE:

former Italy boss ARRIGO SACCHI has advised the player that he will be making a big mistake if he decides to leave.

"Greed is a bad motivation,” he said.

“If I were Kaka, I would think about it before going to City."

TWAT!

I support the Gordon Taylor nomination. Here is some of his quote.

"I'm worried that as a game it looks as if football has no worries." He's worried about not having any worries? Sounds like paranoia to me.

"In the magic roundabout of football, the game is in danger of being accused of being as reckless as the banks have clearly been in causing massive problems economically in the world." He's comparing a football club with a wealthy benefactor, with the global economic crisis. There is no comparison to make.

"It is not a time for any industry to be spending in a cavalier fashion. There's a serious problem with the world and finance. This was perfectly illustrated by the banks. It gets worse. The industry is not spending an any fashion, let alone cavalier. If anything, City are taking the government's role and bailing the 'industry' out, by injecting cash and stimulating spending.

"They were doing fine and then there was suddenly cavalier spending and it has brought a lot of problems for ordinary people and I don't want that to happen to football." Who does he think he is, John Pienaar? At this rate, he'll soon be applying as an advisor to Gordon Brown. It sure won't be bringing on any problems for him, on his £1m/year salary. This must be his way of justifying it.

"It looks as if it is immune from the world financial crisis and the fact is that supporters don't want ticket prices to go up as a result of this." We are immune from the world financial crisis. Who has mentioned anything about ticket prices going up? And in any case, we may not object to paying a bit more to see a higher standard of football. He should ask us before purporting to speak on our behalf.
