Wait until the first out of court settlement gets publicised. It's distasteful enough that they prowl the A and E at hospitals asking people how they got their injuries. The obvious answer is more victims are finding the courage to come forward the more publicity this receives. Reasons will vary from feeling relief that they are not alone and therefore gaining the courage to speak up. Unfortunately there will be the chancers who are trying their arm for a payout. The main problem I can see is gaining convictions from such historic events. Defense lawyers will run rings round prosecutors when as someone has previously mentioned 'How is Roache supposed to recollect events from 45 years ago ?' I think police will be pushing for confessions.
