I watched this the other night and felt the left's intellectual hero Rutger Bregman got a bit bullied - now I see that the Corbynista media are as one that it was a great victory over the evil Blairites and other billionaire boosters. Tragic.

Hm. Does Bergman not have a point? Dismissed by the here and now thinkers, rather than casting an eye on the future for our children and grandchildren.

Right at the end, in just one example, what's going to be the antithesis to automation?? What's going to happen to the thousands and, eventually, hundreds of thousands out of jobs cos it was better and cheaper for 'job creators' to use robots to be more efficient and speedier in the creation of service?

Who sorts out an income for people who can't afford the products that are now made by robots? Who houses those people as the rich get richer?

Why dismiss the timeline without thinking ahead...?
