Local market has bags of seconds of the favourites. Kit kats, Tunnocks wafers, tea cakes ( coccy marshmallows ), jaffa cakes, club biscuits etc. All £1.00 a big bag and 50% are all solid chocolate. Not good for my diabetes.

Fig rolls. Biscuit and fruit. Bite off the biscuit first and you're left with a chewy fig. Mmmm

Have to say Lidl and Aldi are great for snide biscuits and chocolate.

As a kid I used to love Plain Club biscuits- with the golf ball on them. Think they got discontinued.

I remember those. What colour was the wrapper? There used to be club biscuits in a blue wrapper and a red wrapper too, but I can't remember the "flavour". Maybe a wafer? Maybe plain chocolate?

Think they had a rationalisation down to orange, mint and fruit, but then expanded again to honeycomb, and those horrible Gold ones.

All the major supermarkets stock them.

The unchocolate version are a biscuit from heaven, but adding chocolate to them, takes it to a different level. I can eat the biscoff spread, by the spoonful.
