Very old news but would like to share my Sadist moment of a lover of the beautiful Game .

I use to live in Heywood in a Council estate in Heywood a Manchester over spill.
It was literally on the Boarder of Heywood and Bury,
I used to enjoy the occasional vist to Gigg
Even went to supporters club fund raising events,
But then came the Sad day when Bury Fc
Got kicked out of the Football League,
To the 8th tear I think sadly to say never been to Gigg ot Radcliffe where they played before returning to Gigg.
Rightly or Wrongly of me a self confessed lover of football I refuse to go to such lower league football,

But Apparently there getting crowd off 8,000 Now
As they say funny old Game football,

Would appreciate any response
Old story but still worthy a mention

A number of clubs have managed to reboot and climb back up, after dropping out of the EFL. Often with much bigger crowds than when they dropped out.
Look at Lincoln this season, Stockport and Wimbledon other examples.
Bury hopefully on the same path.

Not sure if any of them went as low as the 8th tear

Has for Stockport I like Dave challener no hes been a long time at Stockport
But think he was a one time Bury player

Went to watch Bury last year. Much better atmosphere than the Etihad, too. No thought police and felt like Maine Road in the 90s.

Yes seeing there farther Nevelle Nevelle had a long standing career at Bury fc in Various positions there was even a stand named after him ,And at the time the Club went under the Nevelles mother Jill was Club Secretary ‍ like you said especially Gary rather then put money into a Club no doubt his parents loved he carried out his vanity projects Salford and building Hotels .
Just shows what a soul less little turd he actually is,

Neville Neville introduced Stuart Day to Bury,
a virtual criminal who killed the club, not long after or before Nev was caught in a car allegedly "courting" another woman. His mum never came close to exposing the corruption under Day.
Bury already get far better crowds than project Salford and are better off without any of the Nevilles.

Your choice OP, obviously. But it's (in my opinion) a pity that you can't bring yourself to watch football at that level. I'm sure I've read on here in the past of fans of so-called "big" clubs who go to their local EFL and/or non league clubs when their main team are playing away. And enjoying it, as they feel it hasn't been "polluted" by greed and is football played by the players for the love of the game. No pissing about with having to be a member, being able to turn up an hour before the game and pay at the turnstile. Being able to take kids along without taking out a second mortgage. Paying reasonable prices for food and drink at the ground, being able (I think?) to enjoy your beer while standing on the terrace watching the game. Jumpers for goalposts. Marvellous.*

*That last bit may not be strictly true!
