Bit of techy advice please - Now Solved

This new netbook I've got is great. However, yesterday, whilst on my T-Mobile mobile broadband, and using Internet Explorer with 3 tabs open, and MSN messenger, and being plugged into the mains, via an extension lead, it kept crashing. I kept getting the dreaded blue screen saying of an exception although it didn't stay on long enough to actually see what it said properly. It then went off and rebooted.

There were also a few wireless networks around so I was wondering if there was possibly a conflict between all the wireless networks? Now I'm back home, it seems ok again...

Any ideas?

sounds like your overworking your netbook. probably why it crashed i did something similair when i had one

Thanks for that. I've since replicated all the applications it was using at home, with the exception that I'm running it on battery only, and at home where there aren't all these wireless networks, and it seems to be holding up ok...

Have you checked event viewer, its usually a good place to start:

Have you checked event viewer, its usually a good place to start:

I don't get this option...It runs XP Home.

Get Mozilla Firefox, its free and a million times better than internet explorer!

Cant disagree with this, havent used IE at all since I discovered Firefox.

Ah I found it on XP. Actually it appears to have been some kind of network problem. It appears like it was something to do with the mobile broadband in some way.
