I have always said this about the MOBO awards. Can you imagine if there was a music of white origin awards?
A Black Football Union would be a real backwards step in my opinion.
It's relevant (Or was relevant) at the time it was created because it was from an unrecognised or little recognised minority. A MOWO awards would be very relevant in a nation where white people have been oppressed for centuries and struggled for equality and recognition. Alas that nation is not Britain, thus there isn't one.

Not in musical terms....Tamla Motown, Stax, Atlantic to name a few.. Soul, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Gospel... even Rock & Roll was 'black' music.
