Today shows that we are not ready for champions league just yet in fact i feel it could be a bad thing if we were to finish 4th this season.

Heres why..

I think the owners would bring in at least 4/5 players for god knows how much and to fight on 4 fronts with 4/5 new players in a already newish first team would end in nothing won again. Although i fully expect new faces in the summer to face the likes of Barcelona, Man Utd, Madrid, Bayern Munich...etc...etc would not work.

We need to concentrate on getting rid of this millstone of 30+ years since we have won a major title or cup before we get carried away with the champions league. We need to get a manager and give him time and 100% commititment then build a squad over the next 3-5 years this changing 5-6 players and managers every 6 months is going nowhere.

I for one would be happy with the Europa league next season and most important actually winning a major honour champions league can wait for now.

Give over, that kind of defeatest attitude would have us playing for mid table and relegation safety for the next 10 years. There is still everything to play for, it might not seem like it today but come tomorrow we will still likely be in the driving seat for 4th position.

Spuds winning 2-0 at the moment against Chelsea is a horrible result but..........
wherever we finish this season is the place we'll have deserved, there is no luck involved in where sides finish at the end of a season.
If we don't get 4th then we just have to hold up our hand and realise there are four sides that are better than us at the moment.

Were not in the driving seat now Spuds winning 2-0 and looking and playing very well.

We went into the game today on the back of 14 goals in the last 3 games playing well and scoring freely by the end the players were deflated after leeting themselves and the fans down. We didnt choke, we gave up with 1 minute to go, which resulted in them scoring. And we always choke on the big occasions this season, are you for real. Arsenal at home twice, united at home in the cup. chelsea home and away, liverpool we got a draw. You need to get of your high horse and look at some facts before opening your mouth next time. Where all this bullshit is coming from I don't know, I've been critical of Ade, Toure & De Jong this season but I think all three have had a good enough game today and done well recently.
