I can't find out how to increase the number of rings before my new Blackberry goes to voice mail - currently only 2 rings!!!! so I have to answer it straight away otherwise I miss the call?

I've trawled through the booklets and can't seem to find how to alter this

any help would be appreciated?

Alib,

Use this code, desination is your voicemail No and nn is amount of time youwould like to delay

example type this then presssend **61*your voicemail No*11*30# would ring for 30 seconds then go to voicemail

No Answer
Delay nn seconds: max 30 seconds, in 5 second increments
Set: **61*destination*11*nn#[SEND]
Cancel: ##61*11#[SEND]
Query: *#61*11#[SEND]

Let me know if you need more info!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm very non tech minded and am afraid I don't really understand what you have written!!

Could you spell it out in an idiot's version for me please?

Thats OK

if you type this as if you were going to make a phone call

**61*+44(rest of your voicemail no)*11*30#

the option of call should change to send then press this

i've done that and a message has come up saying " call forwarding no reply : telephony forwarded to " and then my voice mail no.

do I need to do any thing else?

No should now take 30 seconds to go to voicemail when phone is not answered I suspect it was set to 10 or 15 and BB's take a few seconds to kick in to ring thats why you didn't have time to answer.

Have you tested it?

yeah just tested it and it's now 30 secs!!!!

thanks a lot for your help I Feed Goats I really appreciate it - your a star!
