Now that the Fenhurst is shut apart from the Golden Cup where will be the best bet for a few beers pre match ? Also opening times with it being early kick off, The Golden cup is tiny and doesn't open until 11:30. Early kick offs are shit !!
 
Might be worth giving the golden cup a ring.id of thought itd be open before 11:30?i thought the fenhurst had turned in to some bistro restaurant?

The Golden Cup is now opening at 9:30 and is doing beer outside I think.
 
Postal order in town near the train station will be open from around 9am. Big pub that allows football fans home or away. The fernhurst is now called Hungry Horse, it's a sort of Brewsters/Weatherspoons type place. Don't think it allows football fans in there now
 
Theres a pub by the ground run by a blue who is obviously open to away fans, or at least city fans for the day. I bumped into the guy who owns it in amsterdam on my way back from munich the other week. His name is flekker but im racking my brain trying to remember the name of his pub. He wrote it down for me on a piece of paper but I cant find that either! I'll keep looking!
 
There's only the fox and hounds pub open around the ground now. The Ewood arms and The Aqueduct have shut down. So there's only really Golden Cup or pubs in town like the Postal Order for city fans
