blackburn pubs

No problems from the station to the ground, its usually just all city fans walking down until you get a bit closer to the ground were there is usually a good police presence anyway.

The Fernhurst is a good away pub with a history of being a great host, but when 7000k plus arrive it'll be full of kids, scallies, and m*nich/ira chanters.

Mixed experiences in there, best was the evening match where Tarnat ripped that free kick into our direction. Worst was the cheap game where the tent was put outside. People got too giddy.

forget blackburn.the annual pilgrimage gets of the rattler at darwin, down the hill into the yonners village, then a sherbet in every battle cruiser on the a666,finishing in? you guessed it,the fernhirst, bit of a walk, but you can always cheat and jump a bus or taxi.see you there brothers.ps,get the rattler at victoria or the crescent early doors, shall we say between 10 and 11.

For all those going to the Fernhurst - the landlord is a City fan. So let's all enjoy ourselves, but nothing silly. Remember that the law will be there with their cameras as usual.

Darwen's a far better piss-up. Plenty of pubs to go at - start at The Railway which is virtually next door to Darwen station, and work your way down. If you're unsure where to go just follow all the other blues as there will be plenty knocking about. You won't get all the pubs in so you'll need to skip a couple. Think about hopping on a bus down to the Golden Cup or the Fernhurst with about an hour to an hour and a half to kick-off. Leave it any later and you'll be struggling to make the game as the buses aren't that regular from memory. If you're finishing off in The Fernhurst it might be best if you grab a couple of cans from an offy and neck them in the car park of The Fernhurst as it's a nightmare getting served and even if the beer tent is up in the car park they sometimes stop serving a good while before kick-off.

Fernhurst is decent but with 8000 tickets sold for the match, its going to be fecking packed.

Would rather leave it till closer to kick off.

the bear hotel is alright always a few blues just walk fom the ground past the fernhurt and up the hill and on your left about 5 minutes walk from the ground

Fernhurst is always packed which is great aslong as you bring beer with you, few cans in the pocket saves all the queueing.
