We could quite easily be knocked out of the CL by Barcelona. We could make the final of the League Cup and lose to our bitterest rivals. We could miss out on the tightest league competition in recent years despite outscoring everyone else (cheerful person to be around at New Year,no?). So, for me, strongest team possible and get through to the next round. Get the impression MP will use the hardened squad on all fronts to guarantee a trophy and won't risk playing novices.
