Nothing to do with the wealth of the owners. It's the fact that they know we have a huge away support and are likely to buy them even at an inflated price. No doubt Liverpool and rags will be same. Fulham will be £2.50.
Blackpool will get away with it though .It's a local(ish) team who probably won't be in the PL next year so this is your only chance to see this fixture and it's, for many, an ideal place for the pre/post match piss up. They could fill the stadium with City fans.
I wonder if Bolton will be hiking the prices again even after our boycott a few years ago? It's our last game of the season - bet they do as I doubt many would do the same for the final match.
