Blatter claims UEFA draws were rigged

Surely the people doing the draw would also have to be complicit? Seeing as it's two people each time and usually ex players etc it would be a conspiracy on an epic scale requiring every single person who has been involved in the draw keeping quiet? Not impossible but that's one hell of a cover up.

If it's true there will be some expensive court cases coming up ..... maybe we can get our 20 million back.

It's not really a complete surprise, and we can all have a bit of banter over an 'agenda', but fuck me it's shocking if true. Like Phil said above, how many people would need to be complicit in something like this? Some serious money in brown envelopes would need to change hands.

I am no expert but don't they have guests drawing the balls! maybe it was for some play off games where the draw is not televised????

I don't doubt this, but how would he know the balls were hot and cold? He would have to feel them, and you don't see officials at that level have access to the mechanics of the draw immediately before the draw. But why would a FIFA official have any important part to play in a UEFA event?

To me, the draw should be made using something like the National Lottery ball selector, where everyone can see that the balls being selected are random. And with adjudicators.

The whole thing in bent. FFP & now them talking about the "product" being damaged if teams like the rags aren't in it. It's not a real competition, it's too heavily stacked in favour of the elite few clubs.
