Blimp over Manchester last night

Presumed as much. Seen it during the day before, just couldn't work out why it was out at night when nothing was going on yesterday, looked pretty cool lit up at night though.

Some bloke on uk-ufo reckons it was a UFO, hahaha!!

Witness Statement: I was driving on my way from Virgin at Parrs Woods to Rusholmes when I looked in the sky and saw what looked like a UFO. I was driving at the time so couldn't take a picture of anything but it definitely was a UFO. It looked like a hat with red lights and some lights (blue and some other colour) blinking underneath it. If anyone else saw it please reply cause I know what I saw and what I saw was not any ordinary plane or aircraft.

I saw the KEY 103 one many moons ago! I shit my pants!! I thought it was the end of the world.......

It was the Goodyear blimp, as I saw it clearly at about 5:30pm over town. I thought it must be heading towards Liverpool for the match but if people were still seeing it over Manchester 2-3 hours later then it wasn't getting very far.<br /><br />-- Fri Oct 14, 2011 4:13 pm --<br /><br />

It was the Goodyear blimp, as I saw it clearly at about 5:30pm over town. I thought it must be heading towards Liverpool for the match but if people were still seeing it over Manchester 2-3 hours later then it wasn't getting very far.

Ha, I was still at school when this happened with the blimp. Me and some mates were hangging around cater place in Newton messing a about with some girls. I looked up and saw this blimp! I had never seen anything like it! It was in winter dark and this blimp had lights flashing all over it.

It was only the next day in school someone told me what it was, didn't sleep well that night!

It's currently on a tour of the UK promoting Goodyear's new safer tyres. It is currently stationed at Barton airfield. Sky have been using it lately for it's aerial coverage of us V Everton, Rags v Chelsea and Dippers v Everton.
