I remember reading a Simon Barnes column in the Times a few years ago when he was talking about journalistic neutrality, and he said something along the lines of:

"You have to hand in your club scarf when you collect your press credentials".

for a guy whose entire playing career was for one club, I think Gary Neville has done a damn good job since he started his broadcasting career.

And I was one of those who were going to cancel my Sky Sports subscription when he joined them!
