Blu- Ray Discs

just got myself a big FullHD Sony TV and BluRay Player

impressed with the upscalling of normal DVDs

haven't got any BluRay discs yet though anyone got any recommendations for ones to buy (and where from) that would show off the bluray effect to the max (they have to be good films though!!)

If you really want to notice the difference between DVD/TV and BluRay, try getting the Blue Planet series. The clarity and quality is immense. I could not believe the difference.

I've got a similar setup to you, think the upscaling is amazing.

I've not really bought any blu-ray titles as yet (Independence Day, Reservoir Dogs, Casino Royale), but there are a number of titles due to be released which should be well worth getting.

HMV online are doing a 2 for £25 on over a 100 bluray discs - some good films on there!!!
