A very hopeful appeal but you can read beteeen the lines here I think.

Just wonder where they would be without the 24 million LESCOTT FEE ?
how they screamed and kicked over it at the time.think we saved em.Same with BR if we had not given them the RSC fee wonder if the indians would have bought them ?

if you believe the accounts released today we are in debt to tune of 45 million, which in football terms is miniscule. we are a selling not buying club which grates, but not in financial meltdown if one believes kenwright - not that anyone does

in fairness though who you gonna sell to balance books because you havent got many great sellable assets
plus the ownly club who;d pay daft fees is city who you fell out with big time so doubt we;d do business with you
so lets look at it

cahill 31 yrs 5 million tops at his age
arteta 28 yrs 10 million but at he moment no news on anyone sniffing round
Rodwell 19 10-15 million your golden ticket to keep head above water
coleman 22 5-10 million keep heavies from the door for a bit

then you got neville who would be available for 5 numbers plus the bonus under spurs reckoning

And bear in mind you;d have to replace these players to stay up too

so in conclusion

YOUR FUCKED

They'd get good money for Fellaini and Jagielka too, to be fair. Would have said Saha if he had any knees but despite his quality in front of goal, he's injured more than not.

All said, they are clearly a club facing a serious decline unless something happen. And given that they a). have one of the most vocal anti-City fanbases and b). are one of our bogey teams, I have noooo sympathy.

I mention them 2 to a everton fan at work he reckons Jageilka was touted about over january to arsenal and spurs but werent interested aparantly he been shit thisw year

and with crazy hair he said if they sold him they wouldnt get much because
a) they still owe standard liege a nifter some
b) standard have a sell on clause to where they 'd get chink of fee
