Blue Moon Playlist Review Club - Season 2 - Episode 27 - Out on blue 6 - Gone Too Soon (pg 438)

Ok thanks. In which case I will stick with the ultimate one hit wonders for my second one. Apparently the only act to have a number one single on both sides of the atlantic and then to never even trouble the charts again in either of the US or UK.

Zager and Evans - In Year 2525

(Used to give me the heebie jeebies when my big sister used to play this when I was little).
My older brother had that too and it used to bother me.

I had this one waiting for the banjo playlist that did‘nt come to fruition.
A song for all you country fans, ‘Quittin‘ Time ‘ Zach Bryan

That's a good song.

Coincidentally it crossed my mind to nominate a different song with the same name by Mary Chapin Carpenter, but even the (much better) live acoustic version might be a step too country for most folks on here.

I thought it was 3 choices, have I yet again failed to read the exam question properly?

Yeah it was 3 we went with. Or up to 3, so less is fine if you don't have 3.
Humble apologies - you are both correct.

I’m tempted to nominate a country album as one of my nominations on the other thread.
Sounds good, but spoiler alert: it will have to be good to beat Foggy's upcoming choice later today!

Oh fuck, I might take my holidays that week ;).

Oh FFS, et tu Foggus!
Even though I love it, I'll be surprised if the majority don't like it, or at least find something to like within it.

In my humble opinion, JJ Cale may be looking over his shoulder as Foggy storms around the last 100m, but what do I know, eh?
