Blue Moon Playlist Review Club - Season 2 - Episode 27 - Out on blue 6 - Gone Too Soon (pg 438)

Fingers crossed you make it mate. I think tonight is my 58th. Gone a bit over the top with the vip package but this might be my last time!
Most I’ve seen a band is 20 times.

I’ve made as far as the car park, so far.

Looks like PJ will be last track of night, which is a pain as I wanted to skip out during last song to beat the traffic. No, I don’t leave early at the Etihad.

Which one? I think I've seen Rush the most, about 10 times or so.

Yeah, don't want to miss that one! If you are going there from Manchester, you've got quite the drive ahead too.

Wasn't sure how I'd be feeling today, so I deferred earlier while busy giving cryptic clues over in the Album Review thread.

Once that was over, it actually warmed up to 19 degrees C here today, and we even had glimpses of the sun through the clouds before the expected warm rain tomorrow. I was able to get back on my 21 speed bike for a 6K ride going mostly up hills for a 140 meter incline for 26 minutes total. This was my first non-stationary bike ride since my hip replacement surgery, and despite the struggles on the steepest inclines (needing to be at lower gears I'm not accustomed to), it felt great just to be...

"Back in the Saddle" - Aerosmith

(again, not my favorite song or group, but it's how I'm feeling)

Just got in. Bloody Birmingham is one big roadwork. Best I've seen Dm in a long while.

Is it too early to know your mood? Don't think so.

Sling Shot Pt2 - Lefties Soul Connection

Struggling with this theme to be honest. I don't feel deliriously happy or morbidly sad so pretty much anything I post wouldn't be a true reflection of my feelings.

So let's just go for a great track by an underrated band the title of which could be a metaphor for the world.

"Doomsville" - The Rainmakers

Sounds like it is time any old generic indie-mediocrity then.

Reasons to Be Cheerful, Pt. 3 - Ian Drury.

Thinking about that track has indeed cheered me up. A much better roll call than stuff like we didn't start the fire. I'm now also thinking about the fact that the b-side Common as Muck mentioned Lionel Blair and Yvonne Goolagong and that's making me smile even more.
