Why does it have to compete? There are loads of podcasts out there. The more the merrier.
I'm not going to stop listening to SBN just because I listen to this too.
I'm happy you will still try listen to sbn mate there is no need to compete
altho I do find it funny that sbn has ben told it's not allowed to post it's show on this forum and then this pops up. Smells a bit funky to me.
Nothing sinister in a BlueMoon podcast, at all. I'm an out of work broadcaster and I approached Ric with the idea not so long ago - basically, I'm providing a service whilst he's hosting something I can present to prospective employers - after I finished my uni course having done a podcast for another website, which no longer exists.
Neither me nor Andy are here to steal your audience, and just because the Time writes about football doesn't mean the Guardian stops. People will still listen to Sky Blues News, some will prefer one of the other and some will listen to just one. There's a ton of members on here who will like yours over ours and plenty the other way round.
Personally, I don't believe that, because we've started a Blue Moon podcast, your podcast will suffer. Aside from the fact that both are free and so people will download them
because they're free - for example, you mightn't buy both the Times and the Guardian, but you might download both of their crosswords, or whatever - we're not in competition.
I don't know anything about you not being able to post your podcast, so I can't comment on that. I don't know if Ric had told you personally you couldn't post it, and I didn't ask that this thread be stickied. But, again, I don't see the harm in stickying both threads or neither of them.
