blue pubs / blue landlords / blue memorabilia

I know its not local but I was in Lanzarote earlier in the year and in Puerto Del Carmen there is Arthurs Bar bar, full of City memorabilia and signed Ricky Hatton pics and gloves a great place.

Same in Tenerife,Los Cristianos bar called the Blue Terrace, full of City stuff, Ricky Hatton pictured pulling a pint, (has a villa nearby) the landlord Sid is a big blue. Watched the City v Fulham game, it was packed with blues.

is there any city pubs in the city centre that show 3pm city games or ESPN matches?

The Lass O Gowry off Princess Street has Sky Italia so they get more or less all english games, including 3pm kick-offs. They've got 2 rooms so they always show City, it's traditionally a Blue pub too. Drink is fairly dear in there mind.

True that, i think it's a scum/l'pool pub isn't it?
Terrible layout of the screens but atleast they show the foreign channels.

some replies to overall points here :

bridge in sale was always a united majority pub because its on the tram line and they went from there to the matches, but its turned into a student pub and i personally know of a few blues who have moved from the fallowfield / withington area to that part of sale - dane road and there has been a bit of sea chnage in there, when city are on there is a good turnout in there, although it is certainly not a blue pub... the brook, the bank and the vine are your best bets

tommy muir had the george but does he now have a pub in droyslden ? i saw him absolutely wasted at rangers away - he ended up in the rangersd end and ended up in the city end only for the final whistle !

wasnt the wheatsheaf in leve city's pub ?

also king and queen in padgate is where you'd find the warrington blues

ian niven retired from the scot long ago, not a blue pub anymore, show united champions league games in there and gets full too...
I was not wasted at rangers ,just slightly pissed

I think I ehard that the landlord at the Shakespeare is a blue?

He sure is I go there all the time have done for years, dead easy to jump on tram from Crumpsall to Market street, then its staggering distance from the Shakey, to tram home via bounceing off the Primarni windows.

Has a
Bluemoon clock behind bar , and has Bluemoon by the Marcels on jukebox

Not sure about now, but the Moulders in Hyde used to have a lot of City stuff on the walls (& above the front door), but the last time i was in there was after Stevie Howie scored the equaliser at the swamp.
red took it over and binned all city stuff, big aberdeen supporters club banner they brought down etc. some sort of irish bar theme goin on now
top times with moulders!!
harry the driver!!!!!

Not been in for a while but I think the Brewers in Ladybarn used have City stuff up on the walls.

Also, must be someone on here who knows of this place but went down to Wolves in late 90s and the coach made a detour to a pub somewhere in Shropshire owned by a Blue with a load of City clobber up.Would be a reasonable,if slightly out of the way, place for a stop to Midlands games if it still exists.

Was in Sid & Viv's gaffe last week. Top bloke, nice bar. Went to Santander last year with him. He can drink with the best of 'em that lad.
