'Blue'/'Red' Pubs

Rag pubs or at least have rag memorabilia om the walls

Nags head, mulligans, seven oaks, abercrombe, sawyers, white lion, circus tavern

When they are at home these above are infested with them.

They also frequent corbieres which was also popular many years ago by blues.
The Burton was a rag pub but has been done up and has a mix of NQ folks and rags.
The Pev is a strange one, popular with rags and has their pics in one room, but iconic enough that blues have always frequented it too.

Rag are very insecure people that seem to need to prove they are important and stake their territory with pics of law and best on peeling walls, besides the ****s all fuck off home early anyway from town

City fans don't need set pubs as we stay out for the night and drink till the break of day in any boozer available, but I would say top end of Great Ancoats St are frquented by and sort of blue pubs

Crown and kettle, Fringe, the Angel,
Plus The Hairy (on match days), Grey horse, (Mixed but full of blues most days) The City

Then you have the mixed pubs
City, Vine, TST, the Monkey, Salisbury, Rain Bar, The Lass, Shambles, The Tap, Britons, Gullys, Castle

One thing is for sure when them ****s are home and I am out in town late you never see any unlike when we are home and blues are milling around till the early hrs.

Just my observations I may be wrong.
Spot on! After a certain time the Rags just seem to disappear, you see some Blues at 5am and give them a smile and a nod as you're all stumbling about thinking "home or find an afterparty somewhere?...who should i ring?!"

I was out drinking in town when they were at home to the dippers last season.

Saw loads pre match but after the game I'd honestly not have known they'd been playing, found it quite surreal but wasn't complaining.

In the nags head They have all these pictures of MANC legend's on a wall apparently scum players and musicians, they were all done by a scouser !!

A couple of years back the Grey Horse was owned by a blue called Vinnie. He upped sticks and moved to the continent.

Has been a Hyde’s managed pub since it was taken off noel Duffy in 2011. went from Jacqui black widow to Jacqui mk II Who went to live in Malaga a year ago this week. Is now run by a fella calledChris Taylor - a die hard home and away red but a really sound bloke. respects proper city fans and despises non local united fans as much as we do.

Yep, Vinny was with a Jacque & went to Spain.

The rags head used to be a big copper pub when they had the Bootle Street cop shop, not sure if you still can but you used to be able to rent rooms by the half hour there (the pub not the cop shop!)

I've been in a few times over the years as I prefer to do a pub crawl round "proper pubs" rather than trendy bars, and it was never as raggy as it has got last few years.

There were pictures of Best and his liver on the wall but it never really noticed it was much of a rag pub, last time I went in there were cringey odes and poems about the red shite, flags and all kinds of shite everywhere so decided never going in again, his bitter antics on parade day have made sure of that
