I'll play on Saturdays, I already play 11 a side on Sundays. Might get a bit awkward for going to away games though but if we played on saturday in morning we'd have no danger for home. We could book the pitch we play on for 10am?

Put me down anyway mark, i'd defo be up for it.

Sign me up, I missed out on Bluemoon XI.

What are we gonna do if there's a City match on though on a day we're meant to play?

Well if its an 11am kick off, theres time to play the game, get showered and get to the match with plenty of time free for boozing.

I know in some leagues you can postpone games as long as both teams agree and choose a mutual alternative date, could move it to a Sunday if we have a Saturday lunch time kick off at City or an away game players are travelling to.

If this doesn't look like its going to be doable to have an 11 a side team what about entering 5 a side?

If there's loads of interest we could even set up a bluemoon league, or enter a few teams.

This will be very difficult to get off the ground,lads who already play,work commitments,city games,but for me the biggest factor is that everyone is spread across the 4 corners of manchester.Realistically how many amatuer players are willing to travel 15 miles for a home game? I wish you good luck with this but i don't think 11 a side will happen .Maybe 7's or 5's.

For the record,i'd play now and then,i could'nt/wouldn't commit full time. Good luck,stu.

It would be good if we had our Bluemoon forum names on the kits, apart from maybe those who decided to have very long names.

Thats why ive started this thread, to weigh up any interest. I havent gone out and got Bluemoon FC tattooed on my chest or anything like that, this is just to measure interest and if its worth pursuing. So far, theres 12 on the list and the threads been up about an hour.

Will see how the thread develops over the next week or so.
