Bluemoon beer

I was in Hebden Bridge Saturday night, in one of the town's fine bars and they had real ale in there which is always good :)
I noticed Blue Moon and the barman over heard me comment that it was the Belguim beer and I wasn't too keen, and he interupted me to say it was a real ale brewed in Heywood!
Sunk a pint in no time..... 6.5% and bloody good!

You can purchase Blue Moon beer by the case from Metropolitan Drinks in Dukinfield, <a class="postlink" href="http://www.metrodrinks.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.metrodrinks.com</a>
24 bottles of 355ml and will cost you around £25.00 plus the vat.

On draught in the Rising Sun, top Mossley.

You shouldn't really have a problem getting it in bottles, distribution should be widespread to off licences & supermarkets as it's a Miller Coors brand (although they don't advertise this).

im not a big fan, it does taste like a proper american beer like you get in New york, can taste the hops, but for a jock you will probably like, got to beat Tennants !

The bar in the Novotel Manchester city centre (Dickinson St) was selling bottles last year. The glasses are brilliant but I doubt there are any left as my cupboard has several in it now.

I had it once, quite liked it.
