Bluemoon Cheltenham Champion Tipser 2013 final table.

Some work gone into it this year Leighton with a record amount of entries, well done to you for working out everyone's score.

I had a shocking week until today when it all came good with 5 winners.
Went against my selection Ifandbutwhynot with Ted Veale, Tony Martin knows how to ready one for the handicaps.
In hindsight I should have lumped on Our Conor, fancied it all week and bottled out of backing it again today, my confidence was low after the first 3 days.
At Fishers Cross was a shoe in after The New One's result the other day, glad I backed it at 4/1 the other day.
Bob's Worth just stays forever and will win it again next year.
Chapoturgeon let me down big time (had it in a yankee with Our Conor, At Fishers and Bobs Worth) and Salsify was an undeserving winner.
Backed Salubrious to win and finished off with a Tetlami (fell).
A good day overall, just wish I'd have done a multiple on the first 4 races instead of Chapoturgeon.

Congrats to Citymadfan on winning and thanks again Leighton.

Thanks for the enormous effort that this obviously takes. It's clear from the posts in this thread that it is much appreciated by all that take part.

However, it's comps like the tipser and the scoop 6 that have come to showe how shit I really am at picking horses.

Lads thats Cheltenham for you it gets us all giddy leading up to then we splash the cash and hope to god that we break even. Its the best week of the sporting year for me. Football is getting too predictable. While with horse racing every race has its bit of drama who needs your soaps when you look at the races we had this week. The Fly winning , Bobs Worth the girl falling off the horse on the run in in the 4.00 yesterday. The injuries to Davy Russell and JT McNamarra its all this drama that we all love to see minus the injuries to jockeys and horses that get us coming back every year for more and more. The National Hunt game needs us more and more to support this. The flat season will always survive but the passion of the National Hunt game gives horse racing its real credit for me.

Well done lads good competition again!
Diary of the week

Tuesday: Started off in a positive frame of mind, McCoy gets beat first 4 timer goes down. Simonsig wins and gets me a few doubles started. The Fly wins and first pick up! Ended day slightly positive.

Wednesday: Crushed sole destroying
Thursday: Pretty much as above

Friday: Our Conor got me off to a flyer then McCoy wins and wins again last so end the week with 170 Proffit so not to bad.

Congratulations to CitymadFan on a last-gasp victory, and honourable mentions in despatches to Bluebee and Niall.
Cheers Leighton for all the hard work - as others have said,we seldom agree on anything, but it's all good craic.
I went,I lost a fortune,I got soaking wet,I had hangovers from Hell,and I froze my tits off.
I can't wait for next year.

I went four years on the trot on Gold Cup day, it's a great day out, missed the last two due to work commitments but i'm getting involved again next year, i missed it.

I like the Triumph Hurdle as a race aswell as the Gold Cup and had a good win on Katchit in 2007, different stoy this year though, i was on Far West :-(
