Bluemoon Fantasy Football League

Bad weekend. All the usual suspects Bale, RVP, Silva, Aguero and Dempsey to a certain extent, didn't bring in the hauls we were expecting.

Glad I chose Kompany over Richards though, he is much more of a nailed on starter.

Not brilliant this week. 96 points last week, less than half that this week. Should have gone with Graham as captain, but I was hoping that Kun was going to have a (to be honest overdue) big game.

Surprised you went with two Newcy defenders away at Spuds. I'd probably have gone with Jarvis, Britton or even Al-Habsi.

Already used my transfer up bringing in Swansea's Williams to replace the crocked Ryan Taylor. Wasn't prepared to waste 4 (or worse, 8) points getting shut of Krul and Simpson. Ah well.

No I meant you had Jarvis, Britton and Al Habsi on the bench, you could have started them instead of Simpson or Krul.

Fair point. I usually take very little notice of what's on the bench and I did acrtually quietly fancy The Toons to get a 0-0 at Spurs.

Doh!

Cabaye out, R Taylor out, S Taylor our, Cisse and Ba back from thousands of miles away and playing their 2nd game together, and Spurs quite simply the best 'big club' against the lesser teams in the league, and you fancied a nil nil? Hat's off to you Jim.

Don't rate Taylor (S) at all . As for Spurs being good against so-called lesser teams; they weren't that clever last season post Christmas at the Lane. An awful lot of points went west on them from what I can remember. Fair point re. Cabaye and Ryan Taylor though. I just had a feeling (maybe just wishful thinking though!) that they might be able to nick a point. That lasted about 3 minutes 'til BAE was granted about half an acre of free space at the far post.
