Bluemoon FC?

I heard previous attempts at raising a team ended in humiliating defeats by Bluewatch.mcfc.co.uk.

More seriously, I've run teams in the past and it's a thankless task.

15 people that someone mentioned would be a non starter or you'd regularly end up with 8 and 9 turning up if you only had a pool of 15.

Good luck if someone's up for organising it but with the amount of City games on a Sunday these days, I wouldn't be over confident of getting a team out every Sunday morning without a definate commitment off at least 25 players.

My thoughts entirely. Ran a 5 a side team for last 5+ years. Need a pool of at least 10 regulars + some mates who you could pull in for a favour.

However, surely its possible with so many users. Saying that I'm not too local so.... I'm out.

I'm interested, not done anything at all really for a couple of years but used to play quite a lot

live in the city centre

I agree with playing friendlys and see who you want and think will be best for the team :)

i can play upfront or right wing used to be pritty decent when i was alittle bit slimmer... but if you need players ill be more than happy to contribute with goals goals goals :)

If anyone fancies playing 11 a side and is half decent, I've already got an 11 a side team set up and playing.
Mostly blues in the team, only one red! We're in the 1st Division of MASFL
PM me your contact details if you're interested.

i'm actually looking for an 11 a side team so definitely count me in glen.

only if we play in blue though ;)
