just read the Shrewsbury thread. I wonder how many of these glory hunters going up to Newcastle were there when we were shit.
 
No-one's telling me not to run on the pitch... I was on the pitch in '37 and it's been too bloody long for some twatting steward to stop me making a dick of myself again! It will only take 10 minutes for us to get back in our standing positions and then they can present the trophy in front of the newspapermen writing their reports for the Manchester Guardian!
 
Do you reckon you can get a decent reception for a telex machine in the ground?
 
So what's the best route then lads? Huddersfield, Leeds Wetherby and up the A1, or Burnley, Skipton Harrogate A1? I was also thinking of going on that new motorway, you know the Penrith By pass then across from Carlisle? Is it open yet and how do they keep the sheep off it? I hear you can go up to 70 miles an hour on it, that's a bit too fast for my new company car, an Austin Morris 1300, wish I'd got one of those Cortinas like all the other salesmen. Still, our company likes to promote the best of our British Car industry, we'll always be world leaders.

Talking of motorways, I wish they would hurry up and build that M57 to Sheffield and finish that M62, I hear that some farmer in the middle of the moors won't move. Ridiculous!
 
Anyone else keep getting messages from rags? I get bombarded with folded up bit of paper passed around the classroom when they win, then fuckall when they get beat.
