I don't think it's depressing, maybe a few depressed people posting on it but they do make the site slightly addictive reading.

Football is about entertainment. And then 3 points. Your and my opinion means fuck all.

In the same token, its my and your opinions - the fans as a whole that make up the club.

Not anymore.

Fans might look good on TV, or be a stakeholder to keep happy, but the notion that clubs without fans would cease to exist isn't entirely true.

Obviously football being in the entertainment industry, a loss of every fan would bring every club in the country to its knees, football is a sport, an entertainment for the public, it has no greater goal or good other than to engage spectators.

However, Premier League clubs no longer reply on fan support to run sustainably, look at Wigan, they had less than 3k at thier last FA Cup game, get around 15k average gates and yet there are 3 leagues sperating them from Leeds. TV revenue, merchandise, business ventures are what keeep clubs running these days.

Take that further, how many on here attend regularly, purely from a financial point of view... many either live abroad, can't afford it, have other priorities... they're not actually giving anything tangible back to the club other than posts on a forum, yet the club continues to run, in spite of thier "support".

I am disappointed but not surprised at how quickly Mancini has suddenly become a villian on this forum. I used to browse bluemoon every morning when I got in to work while I was checking emails and stuff but now I dread it, it's all doom and gloom and nobody seems to see the positives anymore. Let's all get behind our team and our manager who has shown in Italy he is one of the best at his job. A good manager is a good manager no matter what team he is at and he will bring us results, just trust him. Smile everyone!

Well I'm new to this forum and already noticed that everyone seems to hate Mancini for a start! But what I want to say is that as longs as we are gettin' the points we shouldn't be bothered I mean as long's as we get points weather its messy, boring are anything like that!

Points are points, and that is what we play for!
