I was gonna go for Sturridge but chose not too haha.

I think it's between Kompany and Zabaleta myself, but Kompany has been more consistent so I went for him.

Close one this month, which has been pretty shit apart from the last 2 games.

Zabaleta has been immense, as ever. Ireland has constantly impressed, and Kompany has been a driving force, but, for me it has to be Big Phil. Only won one game this month, yet Caicedo has played no more than 180 minutes of football and managed to score 4 (3) goals. Blackburn wasn't his best performance but apart from Studge, everyone was dross. Caicedo has been very impressive since he's come back into the first team, a totally different player from last season and hopefully his form will continue. Vote for Caicedo!!

I find that completely bizarre. In fact, fucking shocking.

At time of writing, I am the only one to have voted for Hart, (out of pity!) as he has made some brilliant saves this month and probably spared us a lot of further blushes. I am surprised that nobody seems to take into account, that this young lad is learning his craft in the most unfortunate circumstances. His back 4 are fucking dreadful at the moment and he has just landed his first contract, and is rumoured daily to be replaced by a big name that could see him sat in the dugout for the next 6 months.

For Sweep to only have 1 vote is shocking too. My god, the lad has covered some turf over the last month and deserves better than that.

Elano not receiving a single vote is indicative that the leaked stories to the media, from the MH camp have been accepted hook, line and sinker. He might not be on fire at the moment, but he deserves better than that.

Zabaleta is the biggest shock. For a side that has leaked so many goals, I am fucking amazed at that result so far. I just don't rate him that highly at all. And to put him that far ahead of Sweep, Robinho, Hart or Sturridge is pretty disrespectful to me.

It's a bonkers club at times, but the supporters are just as fucking bonkers too.
 
It is due to "Bandwagon Effect", people can see who others are voting for from the posts and follow, it used to happen in General Elections when voting occured over several days.
 
Yeah, maybe it should be a secret ballot. Having said that, the reason Elano has no votes is that he didn't play a couple of the December games, and was pretty poor against PSG and Santander.

It's nothing to do with the club or supporters being "bonkers"... It's the result of having one vote for one player. If it was a rating system then you could look at the average for the month and it may well be fairly equal, but it isn't that kind of vote so people vote with a gut feeling based on one or two stand-out performances or achievements or MOTMs... Hence Ireland (Hull), Caicedo (4 goals in 4 halves) , Zabaleta (Fulham) etc stand out. SWP was MOTM in a loss... That's the way it goes. No need to slag everyone off...

Good for you for voting for Hart, you're spot on as far as I'm concerned but it'll be more than 6 months on the bench but he's only 21 and has the time to learn and improve even more. Also when we're not keeping many clean sheets he's just not going to win this kind of vote. Hopefully his time will come...? Maybe once we get into the cup runs he'll have match winning performances...? Hmm.

For me it's a close one between Ireland, Kompany and SWP, just for the ground they've covered if nothing else, but I went for Superman because he was truly world-class v Hull and has played at a consistent high level still.
