Difficult. Clichy's been great. VK's return has been immense. I'd like to vote Sterling just to jam it up Liverpool's rear. But I'm going to go with Fernandinho -- consistently outstanding all month long, and still unsung by outsiders.

You should link the man of the match poll results for each game in the month to these threads. We've played so many games in February they've all merged into one and I can't remember who played well and who didn't! I went for Fernandinho by the way!.

Tough one. Fernandinho never disappoints, played every minute except FA Cup, much deserved if he wins it. Gone for Vinny as I think he makes our defence (possibly attack too) world class. Kiev away (first half at least) and cup final the defence was beautiful, Spurs too we just got done with a disgusting penalty.

Went for Fernando just ahead of Fernandinho. It's a limited role so it's less noticeable and doesn't catch the eye unless you're watching him specifically but he does his job very very well and has done it better than any other player has done theirs this month.

Dinho but even only doing a part month the change with Vinney on the pitch makes it a very very close call.

Fernandinho has been mint but I can't see past Caballero. Waited so long for a trophy before the FA cup (keegan/div 1 not included), that shootout was heroic and trumps any other performance. Maybe next month for anyone else, this is Willy's.

Difficult one. Willy is the hero of the hour. Kompany's return and the difference it makes has struck everyone. And Ferny is just consistently good, week in week out. Think I'll pass on this one…
