I voted for Joe Hart partly because I knew that Sergio would get an overall majority and partly because I felt he needed the encouragement. I am very glad to see that 7 other people felt a similar way.

This isn't a wind up and I'm not having a laff (and yes I'd probably vote Kun too) but does nobody, absolutely nobody, see Nasri as an outsider here? Because I've been impressed with how the lad's buckled down. Seems a bit unfair to not even think of him. Just saying...

I sometimes find it particularly difficult to choose because I want someone like Nasri or Milner to get it because they do just knuckle down and get on with the job in hand passing under the radar somewhat when it comes to player of the month so I do agree with you.

The thread title needs to be a little more clear.

I had assumed that "player of the month" had an invisible "best" at the start of it. Hence my vote for Sergio.

However, on current count, at least 8 people seem to think it has an invisible "worst" at the start of it. If I had known that then I too would have voted for Joe Hart.
