I'm a bit surprised Aguero only has one vote so far (after 610 votes cast). I know there are several very strong candidates that are getting most of the votes (I went for Yaya), but you'd have thought more than 1 in 600 would go for the club's top scorer.

Obviously not his fault, but he has missed too many games for people to vote for him.

Also we have so many fantastic players that he would need to be fit for nearly very game to get votes. For myself, Spanish Dave is the player I most like to watch and probably my favourite ever City player (I'm 48), but I too voted for Yaya, he seemed to beat teams on his own when we needed something special.

Silva for me. Silva continues to be criminally overlooked in the media and by other teams fans but he has had such an amazing season for us and all on one good leg. Yaya has been amazing and goal scorers always get noticed more but and lot of his and the other players goals have either come from a direct assist from Silva or Silva producing a defence splitting pass to a player who then set up the goal scorer.

Gotta be Yaya, 20 goals from midfield is very impressive. He's such a big part of the team and when other key players have been out injured he's managed to pull us over the line or give us that extra boost to push on and win key games.
Not to mention his wondergoal in the Capital One Final which was the catalyst we needed to go on and score enough to win 3-1. I think people have become so used to Toure having such an incredibly high standard of performance that he gets overlooked sometimes, because in all honesty I think he should have won the PFA player of the year award but with the Liverpool love in this year he didn't stand much of a chance

I went with yaya but found it very difficult to pick between him and dzeko, who i cannot believe only has 29 votes. Without his goals we wouldn't have been near to the title this season.

Voting on the OS version ;)

Yaya for me for obvious reasons but it's a tough call between him and Silva, who is my preferred player. We're picking a ruby amongst sapphires though, to be honest, I think the whole squad has, bar certain moments and injuries, been outstanding. You've got Aguero and Dzeko who were phenomenal for various segments of the season. The same goes for Negredo who, if his form had continued, would've been my pick. I think every player on the list has had a great run at some point throughout the season, Demichelis, for instance, and Javi Garcia has really stepped up when needed. Navas had a nice run and settled well, Milner was fantastic whenever we called on him, Kompany and Zab ever-reliable. Hart came back incredibly strong. Ferna has been solid all season long for me and Nasri too.

It's a wonderful team but Yaya takes the prize for consistently performing at an incredible level. In the first part of the season he was smashing in the free kicks, then as it went on he added goal after goal, assist after assist. His overall pass accuracy and tackle stats for the season are fantastic, and his leadership on the pitch is something other players can aspire to. I'm also of the opinion that there's no more terrifying sight in the premier league than the Yaya train steaming towards you. A Silva flick can unlock a defence, a Kompany block can prevent a certain goal, but when Yaya starts running, nothing can stop him.
