Had to be Yaya for me, but I feel like I have disrespected David at the same time! But for me last Monday and Wednesday encapsulated where the overall award should have gone - the biting, diving, racist cheat who actually got it spent most of Monday night crying into his shirt, whereas the MAN who should have got it finished the match running 80 yards, shrugging off loads of challenges and slamming the ball into the net, all whilst carrying an injury. Yaya is a true footballing great and the fact that he gets slagged off in this forum shows what a really strange place this can be

Really tough one, but Yaya just got the edge over Silva for me.

Interestingly on Blue Tuesday on GMR last night I think about 10 different players were voted for by the studio audience!

good point, I think in another season Yaya, David, Fern, Vinny, Martin, Edin and Zabba could all have had decent claims to win it

Although Dave's my overall favourite I'm going for Yaya as player of the season.

Those goals cannot be ignored. Big ones too, many of them.
