Bluemoon Snobbery/Gone to the dogs?

I think it went right downhill for awhile, but it's recovered some now. There were a few serial idiots who seem to have gone and some of the more attention seeking posters have settled down a bit. Also. I think the moderation has got better in general.

I still think there should be a starting new threads limit applied to every poster. It's annoying to see the same person starting 6 or 7 threads in one day and if 2 or 3 of them are around, it can ruin the discussion element of the board.

You won't let this thread limit thing go will you?

poz, whats your mates name, and do you know where abouts in salford hes from ?

That's a good question we all call him Davymanc and I know he played rugby league for Salford a few years back. He's a great lad and joins in happily with all us toonies on matchday ... I see him tomorrow and I'll ask his surname which I must admit none of us have ever bothered with. Came over here to be with a Geordie lass and stayed coz he fell in love with the Northumberland coast especially Seahouses and Bamburgh.
Drinks for England mind and gets in betweenies while he waits for me to catch up lol

I believe that one day, ric will listen. Anyway I have only mentioned it 74 times to my knowledge - so far.

Not a massive user, but I like it at the moment. Lots of young lads asking about whether we should change the colour of the netting on the goals and such, but thats just a consequence of people being happy about how city are going, and wanting to discuss every possible aspect at our club.

This is also the first time in a long while that theres not that many people talking about transfers, because on the whole the team doesn't need that much changing.

So what's going on guys? I have read more than once today that bluemoon is not what it used to be. That it's dead, gone to the dogs, all the good posters have left and it's not the same with all the new posters.....

I've only been on here two and a half years and have seen no deterioration than I could really speak of. A similar amount of piss taking, football chat and funny fuckers that there always were. I certainly don't look down my nose at the newer members. But has the place changed? Have all the best posters gone?

Has the forum evolved like City, with a minority wanting things back "safe", the way they were before it became the behemoth that it is today? I still think it's the best football forum going but does anyone think different?

You are correct, the forum is changing, and it all started to go down hill from here...
