I would recommend a pith helmet for fixtures south of Birmingham in August and May, sunstroke has seen off many an unwary traveller in those benighted tropics.

Having Alcohol on Coaches going to Football Matches is a Criminal Offence ,the Coach if stopped will be turned round & the Driver & Coach Firm hit with a massive fine
 
3 of us travel to most games from wigan, we would be willing to to use the coach. I would suggest you have a pick up point by Knutsford services.
