There are far too many negative comments/criticisms on this forum. Fickle bunch hey......the team was disappointing on Saturday but that happens to the very top teams as well. Resilience is one of the common characteristics of each and every top team in the world so we should be looking forward to a more convincing performance over the weekend.

Do you think the Barca fans suddenly turned on their players and coach, calling for heads disgracefully, when they lost (shockingly) to Hercules earlier this season? No, they took it in their stride and encouraged the team to a resounding comeback victory the following week.

All the W.U.M.'s need to eff off and the real City supporters stand up and be counted. We're still in the early stages of a VERY promising season. FFS.

C'mon Citeh!

The more extreme Barcelona supporters were calling for Peps head, also he has a rather good track record behind him. Clearly people have different views but the number of threads where people like yourself seem to be getting your cock out to prove how big it is is getting silly.

I'm in the camp of lets see what Roberto has to offer until at least the season is out, but the lack of goals and positioning of players out of position is worrying. I hope that once we have more of a settled team then things will gell more.

Thanks for the lecture.

A rallying cry for the Tubthumpers if ever I heard one.

Even incudes the obligatory "FFS".

The only thing you missed was the phrase "so called supporters"

Get google translator, go on a Barca forum and find the threads from just after that match.

You'll be surprised.

I doubt you'll find any of the moaners on here will be in any way negative at the match. But this is the place for opinions about the way the team are playing.

Of course the situations are so similar aren't they? Barca, second in the league with 7 wins a draw and a loss on the back of a record breaking La Liga campaign, with probably the best set of playing staff in the world, winning trophy after trophy, as opposed to City, 34 years without a Cup, 42 without the league and 29 without an appearance in a Cup Final.

Yes, I just can't understand why we don't take three defeats, a Carling Cup knock-out when it was there for the taking, and 12 piss poor performances out of 14 in the same light as Barca's one off defeat to Hercules when they had 24 shots to 2.

Agree that the team and the manager need to be given a chance beyond a quarter of a season before the guillotines are called for. Mancini's tactics and structures may seem frustrating but once the attacking unit begin to gel more and the opportunities that are created (even in current games) are converted then surely the results will improve too.

The incessant negativity surrounding certain players and the manager (when we lose??) is ridiculous. We're 4th, which is a better 1st quarter performance than any other PL season we've had so far and if we look at the stats, Bobby Manc is still faring better than Hughes last year this time.

Of course, with all the dosh spent and the resources available, we're expected to do better but shouldn't we show a little faith and get behind the team instead of inciting more negativity. The W.U.M.s on here should be exposed and thrown out.

Don't ruin it for him, mate.

He was on his soapbox giving us all a lecture and you just kicked him right off.
