Machin bought him from Bournemouth, when we were promoted in '89, bu Kendall sold him to West Ham with Trevor Morley in exchange for Mark Ward.

I like Frank but his best years weren't at either City or West Ham. Could say the same about some of the defenders eg Pearce, Ben Haim but there werent as many viable alternatives there!

Fair enough, if you’re judging the players on their time at City or the Hammers.

Berkovic and Bishop were both great for us.
