Must be the only bloke who is not a fan of Pulp Fiction. In fact, the only QT film that would come close to my top 100 is Hateful Eight. I dont hate his films, just find them ok.

You aren't. I thought PF overrated, although I completely understand why so many love it. I like his Kill Bill films best. For LA crime drama I'll take Chinatown and, especially, L.A. Confidential.

I disagree with your views on Pulp Fiction but thoroughly enjoyed The Hateful Eight. It’s his best post-millennium film in my view.

I think I will have 14. Those that didn’t make it:
some like it hot (the greatest US comedy ever made)
pans labrynth (Has to be in anyone’s top 10. It will make you cry)
django unchained (don’t know why but my fave QT film after PF)
moulin rouge (Just wonderful, especially with a decent sound system)
romeo and juliet (Who wouldn’t fall in love with Clare Danes. Superb photography and art direction)
arrival (Just coz I think Amy Adams is terrific)

6 superb films that I would recommend strongly to anyone that hasn’t seen them.

Not true mate. You might not have enjoyed it but it was an amazingly clever, inventive and well produced film. Like strictly on hard core drugs.

I had Jackie Brown in my 20, partly because I expected everyone to have Pulp Fiction but also because it’s brilliant.
PF is very good but I think JB was a step up in quality of direction from Tarantino, the lead performances are excellent and the soundtrack is absolute quality.

A lot of folks think Jackie Brown is his masterpiece not Pulp Fiction but I've never seen it! I have to remedy that.

For one thing, it shows he can make a film without the stylised violence.

It’s good, but I think a lot of people are trying too hard to go against popular consensus when choosing it over Pulp Fiction.
