Thanks for the recommendation. I enjoyed Altman’s The Player. If you loved Magnolia, you should see Robert Altman's Short Cuts if you havent. Loved that film, so surprised when i didnt enjoy Magnolia.

That and Honey were in my top 10
Are you referring to the drug deal scene with Alfred Molina?I thought Boogie Nights was ok but could have done without the sequence where it went all Tarantino shoot-up.
I couldn’t get on with Magnolia, thought it was excruciating , despite a strong cast (not including Cruise in that)
Think so , I just thought that was a distraction and trying to jump on the Tarantino bandwagon. Wanted more about the characters and the world of pornography, which is definitely an interesting theme for a movie. Are you referring to the drug deal scene with Alfred Molina?
If so, that’s one of my favourite scenes in film!
I had this in my squad, despite it having no chance of making the 100 due to it being decades old, in black and white, quite long and subtitled from Russian.
Would recommend it to anyone though
A few years since I’ve seen this, but yes, it is a very good film. The Pianist not being in was a travesty.
