Bluemoon's Official Top 100 Films

I had this in my squad, despite it having no chance of making the 100 due to it being decades old, in black and white, quite long and subtitled from Russian.
Would recommend it to anyone though

I thought Boogie Nights was ok but could have done without the sequence where it went all Tarantino shoot-up.
I couldn’t get on with Magnolia, thought it was excruciating , despite a strong cast (not including Cruise in that)
Are you referring to the drug deal scene with Alfred Molina?
If so, that’s one of my favourite scenes in film!

Think so , I just thought that was a distraction and trying to jump on the Tarantino bandwagon. Wanted more about the characters and the world of pornography, which is definitely an interesting theme for a movie.

No Woody Allen films in the 100 which surprises me.
Had Broadway Danny Rose in my top three.
But I did get 16 out of 20 , so can't complain to much.

No mention of Cider House Rules ?

Id actually compare it to Shawshank in its emotional pull.
Michael Caine, Toby Maguire and Charlize Theron.

give it a watch if you’ve never seen.

Great bit of fun but for some reason I was delighted that Shawshank was number 2.
The only film I forgot to put on my list was Dirty Harry.
Thanks again Bluehammer for another great thread.
