Bluemoon's Official Top 100 Films

Green mile is one of the handful of King Novels that was made just right. The book had me shedding the odd tear and the film didn’t disappoint. Perfect casting helped.
it wouldn’t have made my top 20 though.
OFOTCN is a classic in every way shape and form. Worthy of its place in any top movie list.

If at least one of these isn't in the final 13 then I would be dissapointed, don't expect all but at least one.

Planet of the Apes (original)
North by Northwest
The good, the bad and the ugly
Enter the Dragon
Jaws
I expect The Good, the Bad and the Ugly to make it and possibly Jaws.

Has a Hitchcock film even featured yet?

North by Northwest, Psycho, Vertigo, Rear Window, Rope, Strangers on a Train...so many classics.

Psycho came in at 42, and rightly so. Ashamed to say Ive only seen Psycho, Birds and Vertigo. Rear Window on sky, so will give that a watch soon.

1. Pulp Fiction.
2. The Godfather.
3. Goodfellas.

Voted none of them.

Could be Godfather 1 or 2. Goodfellows and don't forget Gladiator. Pulp Fiction will be top ten for sure.

Well I hope I'm going to get a clump of movies from my list in the last twelve as Cuckoo is another not on my list and wasn't in contention to be.

TBF, I liked the movie enough when it was released to buy and read the book, which I've not done often. And I've been a big fan of Mad Jack ever since.

It was a very impactful movie but I don't know if I have ever watched it all the way through since originally seeing it. Never felt the need but maybe it's time to revisit.

I had NBNW and Psycho in my top ten.

I was gonna out rear window in the 20 , but swapped it out a few as I compiled it as I didn't want it to be just one directors movies, had the same problem with carpenter films where I could have listed 7 that I watch quite a lot but wanted to have a mixed 20.

What I posted above was basically my top 15 with ones already picked omitted and ones I knew wouldn't be in the last 13 (some like it hot, the apartments, escape from new york and a few others).
