Bluemoon's Official Top 100 TV Shows

I had Morse in my 20. As I've never watched a second of what looks like being the top three it's no surprise that only half of my 20 made the top 100.

Morse was in my 20. A programme that my wife and I watched together from the series start, when she was my wife to be. I'd say it probably played a part in our willingness to relocate to The Thames Valley for my then job in 1990 and why we ended up living near Oxford. I think it was superb British TV regardless but it would get into my 20 for sentimental reasons. Going in, I would have been bit surprised if it didn't make the 100 but, having seen some of the stuff voted for, less so now.

Watching Morse made you move to the Thames Valley?
When I lived in Moston before emigrating, there was probably 4 or 5 murders in the 19 years I lived there.
On Morse's patch there was a gruesome murder committed on a weekly basis!
I'd rather take my chances living just off Kenyon Lane!

Never heard of Sopranos and I may just give it a sniff as HBO are the doggies bollocks. Speaking of which, it's now all too clear who the top spots are reserved for. I will show my arse in Burtons window if it's not any these big hitters in position one or two. Anyone?

Just downloaded all seasons of the Wire ready to watch, hope it's as good as they say.

For anyone who still hasn’t seen The Sopranos, I would caution that Season 1 isn’t, in my estimation, quite up to the same standard as the later ones in my view (though it is still very good).

After that, it’s superb.

Maybe thats bee my issue

Seen s1 a few times (years apart) thinking i'd give it a good go and by the time im done with it never felt like watching furthef. Might now just go straight into s2.

Midsomer Murders is set there as well. Add them to Morse’s murders and it must be worse than Mexico.

So looks like it is between breaking bad and only fools for no.1.
