Just finished The Americans last week, and you are correct. The last two series were fantastic and the finale was absolutely brilliant!!! Had to watch the last two episodes again already, they were that good. Last night we went back and watched the first two episodes of series 1; very interesting to look back now that I have seen the ending.You are in for a treat, the final season bows out beautifully.
