Blues are here, blues are there..............

Hmm.... Same happened with Chelsea, many buying shirts and watching matches (on tv) some if they could afford would go to 1/2 games per season.

A vast amount of our games this season have been on Sky Sports, kids who want a club will choose us.... Just like I chose a Serie A club when Italian Footy was on Channel4.

Maybe the kids will become regular matchday goers as they get older?
I doubt it for the majority of them, however they will still choose to be blues when it comes to picking a team to play on Fifa, or wearing a shirt sat on the sofa with their Sky Subscription.

Football for this century

Just like quite a few of us grey haired old farts now wallowing with pride in Northern Ireland (and Im sure in the south too) started to watch City on the box in the early '70's and many of us have progressed through Citycards to season tickets and I am now back to the blue membership due to kick off times being altered at late notice and hence no more cheap flights.

Still absolutely zero blue shirts in Hertfordshire, just like always. Just means I stand out more when I wear mine, I guess.

Went to watch the kids training tonight at the Exeter City satellite academy. There were 3 kids wearing the City shirt in the under 10s group and not one of them had a manc accent. Considering this is 260 miles from the ETIHAD it's fair to say we have, erm arrived.
Hasn't there always been a decent Bristol blues lot down there. I thought they brought a coach to every home game?

Kids are as shallow as it gets. They will all be blues come May. In fact, this is happening already ... as Camel Gob and Co already know.

-- Tue Feb 28, 2012 10:51 pm --
