Blues fighting Blues!

I have been to Eastlands a few times and have been in an incident once. A couple of home "fans" punched me in the back as I was walking along outsidethe COMS with my Villa top on along with a bird and her 10 year old lad. The boy was crying on the bus back from the ground as they hostility towards us was palpable. The same day a few other Villa fans got attacked at Piccadilly. I must say, I know that not all City fans are like that but it is renowned as one of the more dangerous grounds to go to as an away fan (or even a home fan). I am a bit worried about Wednesday night and hope there is no trouble. Is there likely to be any particular animosity towards us?

i know a few blackpool lads that came to city and they had trouble in town. i'm afraid its certainly still with us but not on the scale it was at maine road, you should be ok on wed night but if your walking back to town after the game i'd keep ziped up there is always a knob who will start mouthing off

cup game, smaller crowd, much less potential for trouble i should hope.

but i would zip up your coat just in case y'know, even I do as a home fan in town on the way home just in case there are any rags looking for trouble.

Well said. Thats' you kind of bullshit I'd expect from Birmingham's scum (tiny)fan base, as you would expect from the rags. You don't need to hear it from your own good fan base and it embarrasses me when the small minority of Villa have such an attitude. BennyM20, you are an embarrasment to your club and to football in general. Let's all hope for a good game on Wednesday without idiots dragging our great game through the gutter. UTV.
