Having posted intermittently on here, sometimes regularly, sometimes very rarely I must confess I do lurk and read on here very regularly. And whilst I think we have some extremely intelligent and knowledgeable posters on a range of various topics, we do also have some very passionate ones who strongly believe in their own beliefs, there is nothing wrong with that. There are probably times that I am justifiably thought of in that way.
However, among the first category of intelligence and knowledge I personally think there are a couple who immediately spring to mind and could qualify for the Bluemoon POTY = Poster of the year. Would it be worth having this thread to allow everyone to show their appreciation for the genuine value, be it City related, Football related, Politics related or just General all round related?

Rascal. Whilst I don't agree with all his views and comments, they are definitely interesting and do open my mind to left wing politics. I do agree with much of what he writes and he helps me see the alternative side. Politically I agree with very much of what he says, it is just that I have no affiliation to the left or right wing political scene. Some of my views are extremely left wing, such as renationalisation and a fully funded NHS etc... Whilst my right wing has much less time for people who want to enter this failing nation illegally. Rascal helps me keep balanced on that score.
Prestwich Blue is a brilliant poster and a very safe pair of hands when it comes to issues specifically on Manchester City, He is knowledgeable, balanced and normally pretty much on the mark on all matters relating to City. He is a great source of knowledge and assurance when it comes to financial matters and I believe him to trustworthy and normmally my first point of reference when there are any political or financial matters being discussed at the club I love.
SPIDERBOY in my opinion has been outstanding this year on matters relating to Ukraine. He knows his subject passionately and has been the most informative poster on here (IMO). I know others do much more research than I ever do but SPIDEBOY seems to be talking almost from the frontline and brings the subject much closer to home and communicates in a way that seems to resonate well with the audience that he is addressing, he seems to read the room well and never fails to deliver.

My Christmas message to everyone one is, yes, we may have disagreed and argued we may have agreed and been in unison, but I appreciate everyone who contributes to this forum and I like to think we are all acquaintances if not friends - which I'm sure we would be if we ever meet. I believe it would be good to have a 2022 recognition thread and a BMPOTY award but will understand why, if this is rejected and the thread deleted.
