Nothing against Lescott, but can you imagine Kompany and Boateng as a centre back pairing!? It would be immense. Both former Hamburg team mates, both young (24 and 21 respectively), both class. They could be the heart of our defence for almost a decade! Sign 2 new full-backs and play Vince and Jerome in the middle please.

Was just thinking that blue12. He was the very image of compsure. Just what you need most in a defender.
