I remember my Dad pointing me towards his comedy monologues - like The Driving Instructor above.
I also remember the Newhart series in the early 80s, where he ran a hotel.
A very funny man and 94 is a good innings. RIP

Our music teacher at school introduced us to him, he kinda slipped off my radar for many years, but only recently bought a double CD 'best of' by him, and it still makes me laugh out loud. Talented guy.

Loved listening to his monologues when I was a kid.
I still occasionally quote lines out of the ‘Walter Raleigh’ sketch to this day.
Also ‘Bus driver school’ and ‘How to defuse a bomb’
Classics, that are funny in any era.
And all those years later, absolute perfect casting as Will Ferrell’s dad and the voice over guy in ‘Elf’

RIP Bob.
He was absolutely brilliant and a genuinely funny man. I bought tickets to see him years ago, but his tour got cancelled for some unknown reason. The Bus Driver School really is comic genius.
