He was quite brilliant.

It was the Driving Instructor that was posted, so I had to go 'n find Nutty Walt. Classic, ingenious comedy. Nobody will replace him.

All previous posts refer to his excellent comedy monologues but Newheart also appeared in straight acting roles in feature films, often with a comedy slant. They include the war film Hell is for Heroes (starring Steve McQueen and Bobby Darin), Catch 22, In and Out and as Papa Elf in Elf.
